Showy new growth emerges bright, sunny yellow that takes a lime green hue through summer and ends the season in bronze. Small white flower clusters provide an accent in summer. Exfoliating bark provides winter interest. Spreading, suckering habit does well in naturalized areas or as a hedge. Can be pruned heavily to desired shape.
