Famous for its quickly spreading habit and brilliant red berries, this cotoneaster is an excellent groundcover, whether creeping across flat ground, in rock gardens, or cascading over walls and containers. Tiny white flowers appear in spring followed by bright red berries in fall that remain into winter.
