Standing Ovation™ is a narrow-columnar selection of Saskatoon/Serviceberry prized for its upright, oval form and four-season interest. In spring it bursts into clusters of fragrant white blossoms, followed by sweet, edible purple berries in early summer — a favourite of both humans and wildlife. Its dark green foliage gives way to rich red-orange fall colour, and in winter the tree’s clean upright silhouette adds winter structure to the landscape. Because of its narrow habit, Standing Ovation™ works well in small yards, along fences, for screening or as a vertical accent. It is low-maintenance and desirable for naturalistic, woodland-edge, or mixed plantings.
