Tiered branches provide a display for the lace-cap white flower clusters that bloom profusely in spring and sporadically throughout the summer. Growth habit is compact, dense, and upright. Ornamental scarlet berries appear in fall against red-purple foliage. If pruning is needed, do so immediately after flowering.
