Dicentra ‘White Diamonds’ is a compact, alpine-type bleeding heart that brings delicate, pure white, heart-shaped flowers and finely textured glaucous blue-green foliage to gardens. Unlike classic woodland-bleeding hearts, it thrives in sunnier, well-drained sites — producing a long season of blooms from spring well into fall. Its softly mounded habit and lacy leaves make it excellent for rock gardens, containers, borders, or as an underplanting. Because it prefers lean, well-drained soil and avoids water-logging, it’s a lower-maintenance, deer-resistant perennial that adds soft structure and long-lasting floral impact to a variety of garden settings.
