Larix Laricina - Eastern/American Larch
One of the few deciduous conifers, glossy tufts of soft needles emerge in the spring from short spurs arranged in tight spirals around the branches. Fanning out into stiff, bright green starbursts that attain a bronze hue as cooler weather approaches before the needles shed. Well adapted to cool climates, makes for a beautiful specimen tree.
