This large and stately tree makes a grand specimen and is an exceptional shade tree. It is a long-lived tree with wide, spreading branches and a dense crown. The lobed foliage emerges as a deep crimson colour before quickly becoming a clean, bright green. Fall colour is a pleasing mix of oranges and reds.
