An attractive low growing evergreen shrub with dense spreading branches that form a mound of short, dark green needles. Little maintenance is needed and it can be used for perennial borders, rock gardens, or in mass plantings. Becomes a focal point in the winter months. Tolerant of poor soils and cold climates, prefers to be in a well-drained location.
