One of the earliest blooming shrubs, large creamy white flowers have radiating petals giving a celestial appearance. Flowers are fragrant as well as beautiful, so plant where it will be enjoyed daily. Narrow dark green leaves follow a few weeks later. Growth habit is naturally ovate and makes for a lovely specimen or in a border with later blooming plants.
