Achillea millefolium - Common Yarrow
Achillea millefolium, commonly known as common yarrow, is a hardy native perennial prized for its finely divided, fern-like foliage and broad, flat clusters of flowers. Blooming from early to late summer, it produces long-lasting blossoms that attract butterflies, bees, and other beneficial pollinators. The species typically features white flowers, although cultivated forms are available in many colors. Its upright habit and drought tolerance make it an excellent choice for borders, meadows, pollinator gardens, and naturalized landscapes. Easy to grow in well-drained soils, Achillea millefolium provides season-long beauty while offering excellent resistance to heat, drought, and deer.
