The botanical name is Hydrangea macrophylla 'Bailmacfive' PPAF and is a cross between Hydrangea macrophylla 'Hot Red' &  ‘PIIHM-II’ . The blooms on this hdyranea will bloom on new & old wood. It's a compact hydrangea blooms all summer long. Large, 3.5”-5” pink or purple blooms, depending on soil pH. Dark green foliage takes on a burgundy-red color in the fall.
